Daniel J. Lynch
Vice President and Treasurer

Daniel J. Lynch is vice president and treasurer of The Washington Post Company. He joined the Company in October 1996; he was elected treasurer in 1997 and to his current position in September 2008.

Before joining The Washington Post Company, Lynch worked for 18 years in numerous financial, planning, and analysis positions for Mobil Corporation.

In addition to his responsibilities at The Washington Post Company, Lynch serves as assistant treasurer of the Philip L. Graham Fund, a private foundation that was established in 1963 for the benefit of charitable, scientific, literary, and educational purposes in the Washington, DC region.

Lynch is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) and a member of the Committee on Investment of Employee Benefit Assets (CIEBA).

Lynch received a BS magna cum laude with majors in Math and French from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. He holds an MBA from the Columbia University School of Business with a concentration in Finance and Accounting.
