Andrea Papa
Assistant Controller

Andrea Papa, assistant controller, joined The Washington Post Company in 2006 as director of corporate accounting. From 2004 to 2006, she was the senior director of financial compliance at TNS, Inc. Papa served as an internal audit manager for Time Warner, Inc. from 2001 to 2004 in New York City and as a senior auditor at Arthur Andersen LLP from 1998 to 2001 in Washington, DC.

Papa graduated from Virginia Tech in 1997, with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy; she also completed a master’s in accountancy from Virginia Tech in 1998, graduating magna cum laude. She is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Executives International (FEI).
